Renee Klein teaches therapeutic yoga, yoga for back and yoga with weights. A day for mindful movement, ceremony, meditation, creativity, poetry … and clarity

Arrive for contemplative mindfulness to the sounds of crystal bowls before our opening ceremony, intention setting and poetry. We’ll enjoy guided movement as meditation before our creative studio time. With your intentions as a guide, paint or write your vision through journaling, collaging, painting and/or poetry. We will also stretch, rest, meditate and enjoy a mindful community. Our afternoon will conclude with gentle restorative yoga to embody our intentions, final meditation and closing ceremony.

FALL FITNESS HIKE: Hike-Stretch-Flex

Join Renee Klein, Aletia Alvarez, Jan Burr, Wendy Chapman and Jane Freeburg on a fall fitness excursion to hike (3.5 miles), flex, stretch, and BREATHE outdoors at magnificent Fort Worden. Starting at Madrona MindBody Institute, then to the lighthouse, up trails to Alexander’s Bluff, and back down to the Commons for some post-hike stretching. Participants will have the option to carry light weights or try a few Fort Worden specific exercises … OR you can just enjoy the stunning views overlooking the Salish Sea!
