Soul Motion™ is a practice where we cultivate our capacity for listening to the deep wisdom of the body and the silent whisperings of the soul. We spiral with curiosity at the crossroads of our past and our possibilities. When body meets soul, movement meets moment… dissolution into spirit. This is the dance of the soul~in~motion.
SOUL MOTION®: FOUNDATIONS ~ This five-day program is a first step and a deeper dive into the architecture and essentials that comprise this practice; a place to return to again and again.
Foundations emphasizes the four Soul Motion Relational Landscapes: dance intimate (solo), dance communion (with another), dance community (ensemble) and dance infinite (ritual space). Included are additional inquiries that present the Soul Motion Activity Platforms; pause presence, orbit orientation and echo inspiration.
Soul Motion®: Foundations is the entry-level requirement for all Soul Motion School programs.
This is an enrollment-based program open to all interested in the fundamentals of the work and furthering their Soul Motion practice.
Come take with us a rare behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of Soul Motion™. These two facilitators are lined up to tune your sense and understanding of this practice. Michael Molin-Skelton and Aletia A. Alvarez will be teaching to invite, inspire, incite and ignite the deep dance within each of us.

Aletia Anna Alvarez is co-founder of Madrona MindBody Institute. Michael Molin-Skelton holds sacred: “The Love of my Life Anneli, the miracle we named Jaylan, friends that cherish and challenge me, dancing alone, dancing with you, and love…Dancing is not something I do, it is simply who I am”.
