After years of ballet, strength training, running and other movement modalities, Renee Klein discovered the magic of yoga. After classes and workshops with numerous yogis from different traditions, she selected the Viniyoga therapeutic yoga lineage for her focus and trained for 15 months to earn her yoga teaching credentials. She later returned for in-depth studies to become both a Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT 500) and a C-IAYT, Certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Renee emphasizes accessibility: “Yoga is for everybody and every body, an ancient practice where bodies, minds, hearts and spirits can be healed and enriched.” She teaches classes, workshops and works with private clients, and also teaches yoga to young men in addiction recovery.

Assisting with the workshop and leading the Yoga Off the Mat session will be Yoga Teacher Kay Jensen. Kay is a Pisces gal finding her way, happiest paddling a kayak or hiking a trail. “Friendship fuels the fire of my life, while yoga lights the Path. The Practice of Yoga found me after many years of long-distance running resulted in back and hip injury. I began with a focus on yoga as a physical practice for fitness. I have come to see the essence, these days, as a toolbox for consciously changing my relationship to everyday life.” She is grateful to all her wise and wonderful teachers along the way to a 200-RYT YogFit training, plus certifications in SeniorFit, Chair Yoga and Workplace Fitness.
